You can call Reading Rocks at (613) 968-8700. We are open Monday 4 - 7, Wednesday 10 - 1, and Saturday 1-4. The address is 188 Victoria Ave, Belleville (around the back).

The Program runs January 27 to December 31st annually. It is free. Any child can join. All children start with the goal of reading 100 books in a years especially if they are in grades senior kindergarten to grade 3. Older Students who are reading novels prefer to start as "page turners" where they keep track of all pages read in a year. Any book counts. Reading Rocks! specializes in providing easy to read, hard to get reading material.

Dick and Eva have been going to Latin America for the past 12 years, generally for 3 months at a time.   Their first mission was to Chile.  In 1998 they started going to El Paraiso Province in Honduras and have continued to visit yearly.  In 2000, after their time in Honduras they went to Peru and worked in Lima.  They are scheduled to leave for Honduras again on 12 January 2009, returning 10 April, 2009

Eva is a member of the Board of Directors of the South American Missionary Society in Canada, < samscanada.ca >.  Dick is a member of the Mission Personal Committee and the Publicity Committee.
